ASPEN, Colo. (AP) — Officials have signed off on a Colorado ski lodge’s plans to construct low-priced housing so that it can, in most cases, serve its personnel. The Aspen Times reports the Basalt Town Council voted four-2 Tuesday to approve the task via Aspen Skiing Co. The company plans to assemble a 53,000-square-foot (4,900,900 square meters) building on the Willits shopping region in Basalt, about 20 miles (32 kilometers) northwest of Aspen.
