New Zealand’s Queenstown ski hotel is struggling, with very little natural snow because of strangely dry weather. A popular ski lodge is affected by a ‘snow drought’ because of extended sunny and dry days producing icy and threatening slopes. The lodging operator, however, is confident they can pinnacle up the lodge by making their personal snow.
