Gulf Shores Main Public Beach
Also referred to as Gulf Place, this is a fun-filled strand of light sands wherein Highway fifty-nine lifelessly ends at the Gulf of Mexico. With three sail-shaded areas and volleyball courts, this beach is its magnet, and traditional seafood joints and seaside bars add to the amusement. The gentle drop-off makes this a superb choice for families. The walk-in rate is $2; automobile parking is $6 ($20 for RVs, buses, and trailers).
