Our location is perfect for those who love the outdoors and enjoy being active. Whether you’re looking to relax, hike, ride bikes, go fishing, or ski, Mora Campground is the place to be! Mora Campground is a private campground open for over 25 years. We pride ourselves in our family-friendly environment and offer a variety of activities, including hiking, biking, canoeing, horseback riding, swimming, tennis, volleyball, basketball, and archery. We also have a restaurant and bar where guests can enjoy a meal, drink, and relax.

It is difficult to understand how so many people can find such joy in living in an environment where many trees have been cut down and abandoned. A number of these trees are on what used to be a beautiful forest with a stream flowing through it. Many people who lived in the area in the past would come out to see the beautiful forest and the creek. The stream was very attractive because it contained trout. One of the most famous stories about this area is about the Mora Family and their cottage. Many think they were the first white family to live on the mountain.

We are a locally owned business dedicated to providing our guests with a comfortable, affordable, and fun stay.

How to get to more campgrounds?

Mora Campground is located on Route 302 in the heart of the White Mountains in New Hampshire. To get to our campsite, take Route 302 north of Boston, then continue north on NH 302. Stay on NH 302 for about an hour and a half until you see the sign for Mora Campground. We are just off Route 302, about 8 miles north of Manchester and 10 miles south of North Conway. The campground is set in the woods along the Merrimack River. There is a nice grassy area for children to play in and a fishing pond with a small stream running through it. There are several hiking trails nearby and a trail that leads to a beautiful waterfall. If you come from the west, many beautiful lakes are nearby for swimming. You can also drive about 20 minutes to Mount Washington, New England’s highest peak.
