RIGA – This summer, the most popular leisure locations amongst airBaltic passengers are Barcelona, Tbilisi, and Milan. For the summer season months, the largest range of reservations had been made for flights to such towns as Tallinn, St. Petersburg, and Helsinki. In addition to the maximum popular routes, we continue to offer dozens of additional flights to such locations as Malta, Bordeaux, or Odessa, amongst others.”
This summer, airBaltic offers passengers more than 70 direct destinations from Riga and over 300 locations with one-stop via its partner airlines. In May 2019, airBaltic transported 470 0.5 passengers or 22% than the previous year to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS, and the Middle East. For the primary time within the airline’s records, airBaltic has reached a 60% market share in Riga for May 2019.
AirBaltic Celebrates the Strong Demand in Estonia with Special Airbus A220-300 Livery. Due to the developing popularity of airBaltic services in Estonia, over the past weekend, airBaltic completed the paintwork on one of its Airbus A220-300 aircraft at Magnetic MRO centers at Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport. Now, airBaltic’s Airbus A220-300 plane, registered as YL-CSJ, is sporting the colors of the Estonian flag and the call of its capital– Tallinn.

As an Estonian MRO, we’re delighted with our paintings, and we’re sure the new livery will make every Estonian check out the sky to experiment with this stunning blue-black-white hen.” To create this artwork, 15 professional painters worked for 11,000hours. In total, 250 liters of primer, paint, and lacquer have been used to cover the aircraft, constituting a layer of one hundred twenty microns or 0.12 mm.
During the primary five months of 2019, airBaltic has transported over 210,000 passengers to and from Estonia. The airline has carried 31% more passengers in Estonia to its community spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS, and the Middle East than during the same lperiodultimate 12 months.
